How long will it take?

The expertise and capabilities of Zentec that have already been applied have shown that a typical transformation to a Lean Organisation tends to be of the order of 1 to 3 years depending upon the size of the organisation and the starting point of the client.

Kaizen Workshops

Quicker results can be achieved through the application of Kaizen Workshops and other training courses but these are most effective when they are carried out in parallel with the rollout of Lean throughout the site. Many companies carry out Kaizen Workshops only and the result is that improvements are never sustained for more than a short time period, certainly not long enough to gain a return on the investment made in the Kaizen Workshop itself.

Full Alignment

The change process should not be underestimated as it will touch each and every corner of your organisation from the finance department right through to the despatch areas. All areas must become fully aligned if a true changeover to a Lean Organisation is to be achieved.

Regular Reviews

To clarify and focus our thinking, we regularly step back from the work we are performing and reflect on the implications of it. This allows us to discuss with the client in regular progress reviews and surface issues that need to be addressed.
