The expertise and capabilities of Zentec that have already been applied have shown that a typical transformation to a Lean Organisation tends to be of the order of 1 to 3 years depending upon the size of the organisation and the starting point of the client.

It is not unusual to carry out a diagnostic phase to assess the impact that a Lean change might have with some financial benefit estimation at the end of this phase. Any such financial benefits are based on actual observations of process performance at the client site.

Following a diagnostic it is likely that a small area of the site is selected as a pilot area where the tools and techniques can be tested. The pilot area chosen should be one that a correct application of the Lean tools will give an immediate impact to the business performance.

A timing plan is then developed with the client in order to apply the Lean thinking across the remaining areas of the organisation in a timely manner to maximise the impact of the Lean change.
